Bill is a seminary teacher and retired pastor who lives in Waxhaw, North Carolina, with his wife Joy and their dog, Natasha. He completed his training in spiritual direction at Richmont Graduate University in 2019.

Bill is the author of several books. He has also been published in Christianity Today, Preaching, The Herald, and The Wittenburg Door.

Deborah Midkiff, MS, NCC
Deborah is a spiritual director and Christian counselor living in the Atlanta area. She has direct experience assisting adults through crisis intervention, life transitions, relationship building, self-development, and spiritual emergence. She has provided seminars, support groups and individual, couple and family therapy in faith-based settings.
Deborah earned a BA in Psychology from the University of Maryland, an MS in Community Counseling from Georgia State University, and an MS in Christian Psychological Studies from Richmont Graduate University.
Deborah completed her training in spiritual direction at Richmont Graduate University in 2019. She has been credentialed through the National Board for Certified Counselors since 1994.

Dr. Karen Stevenson, MD, M. Div.
Karen is a spiritual director and psychiatrist living in Decatur, Georgia. She received her medical degree from Louisiana State University and her training in Psychiatry from Johns Hopkins with a specialty in Adolescent Psychiatry. She received a Master of Divinity from Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur, Georgia.
Karen completed her training in spiritual direction at Richmont Graduate University in 2019. She has a special heart for the spiritual lives of women, and is the author of Heart Cries & Healing: The Black Church, the Black Woman, and the Hidden Pain of Abortion.
